Tix

Tix functioned as a Communications Officer for the Imperial military during the era of the Galactic Civil War. Later in his life, he chose to abandon the Empire and join the Alliance to Restore the Republic.

Biography

Tix, a male individual, held the position of communications officer on the Imperial II-class Star Destroyer known as the Liquidator. This vessel was stationed within the Delrakkin system around the time that the Battle of Yavin occurred. The Liquidator served as the flagship of Admiral Termo, who in the year 0 ABY was anticipating a communication from Grand Moff Wilhuff Tarkin. Tarkin, at last report, had taken the Death Star battle station to the Yavin system with the intention of destroying the Alliance to Restore the Republic base located on the fourth moon of the planet Yavin Prime.

While waiting for communication from Tarkin, Termo himself approached Tix, tasking the communications officer with verifying the frequency of the hyperspace transponder. This was to ensure they hadn't missed any message from Tarkin. Tix confirmed that there were no technical issues. He then offered to attempt to initiate communications with the Death Star, but Termo was under strict orders to refrain from any action until hearing from Tarkin. In an effort to find another explanation, Termo questioned Tix about whether storms on the planet Delrakkin could be interfering with communications. The communications officer refuted this, stating that no such interference would occur given their distance from the planet's surface. Tix observed with interest as Termo began to doubt himself, before giving orders to Captain Skeezer to proceed to the Liquidator's forward launch bay.

Personality and traits

Tix was deeply afraid of his superior officer, Admiral Termo, to the point where he dreaded even meeting the admiral's eyes. Having served under Termo for a significant period, Tix had learned that the admiral's seemingly calm demeanor could mask his true feelings of dissatisfaction.
