TK-108 was a member of the Galactic Empire's stormtrooper corps during the Galactic Civil War. After the Battle of Yavin, this stormtrooper served as security at the Imperial Research and Prison Facility located on the planet of Dathomir. Within this facility, Imperial scientists were secretly working to modify the terrible Blackwing virus into a bioweapon. TK-108's assignment was Security Post 3 on Level 1 of the research lab. 1 ABY saw TK-108 on duty when an incident at the Imperial Research and Prison Facility caused the virus to escape its containment. The resulting outbreak led to the death of most individuals in the area, transforming them into undead beings.
The character of TK-108 appeared in Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game from 2003. This video game was developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts. The game was shut down on December 15, 2011, but the mention of TK-108 was introduced with "Game Update 14," which was released on October 12, 2009.
