He and Doctor Lucien shared a conviction that 3PO-series protocol droids, with some adjustments, could function effectively as infiltration units. Not long after the Battle of Yavin, they successfully put their theory into practice by deploying compromised droids among the ranks of the Rebel Alliance. These droids found their way onto the Alliance Intelligence flagship, the Shadow Raptor, instigating a revolt. An Alliance team traced the origin of these droids back to Teagan, discovering that Imperial Intelligence was conducting operations from a Kwymar Automation Ltd. storage facility. Upon the arrival of the Alliance team, the engineers made a hasty retreat.
