Tomy

Tomy Corporation is a toy-producing business from Japan that manufactures authorized Star Wars collectible figurines. Within the borders of Japan, the business is known as Takara Tomy (タカラトミー) due to its creation in 2006 via the joining of the Takara and Tomy toy production companies. Despite the business combination, the name used for trading in English continues to be Tomy, without including Takara.

Tomy engaged in a collaborative business arrangement with Hasbro, importing and distributing their goods, including Star Wars toys, for sale within Japan. Tomy markets a diverse selection of unique Star Wars merchandise, notably gacha toys, which are distributed by their branch, T-ARTS Company, Ltd. (タカラトミーアーツ).
