Torr Snapit, a Jedi scout and Master, existed near the conclusion of the New Sith Wars. The Sith brought about his demise on Ruusan.
Snapit was not fond of his lightsaber; instead, he typically used a staff made of hardened wood, finding its reach more advantageous.
On the world of Somov Rit, he came across three young Force-sensitive Humans known as "Tomcat," "Bug," and "Rain." These individuals were transported to Ruusan, the site of conflict between the Jedi Army of Light and the Sith Brotherhood of Darkness. During the journey, they faced an assault from Sith fighters, from which they barely managed to escape.
Upon arriving on the ground, the Sith quickly caught up, and Torr delayed them, allowing the children to flee. After they were safely across, he severed a rope bridge with his staff, plummeting into the canyon along with the numerous Sith followers. Tomcat descended to retrieve Torr's lightsaber. Torr, still alive, implored Tomcat to leave the weapon, but Tomcat took it regardless, watching in despair. Shortly after, Torr succumbed to his wounds.
