Treatise on bird watching

A certain guidebook about observing avians was in the possession of Reki, the Human burglar, throughout the time of the Cold War. This book was stored at his residence located in Mannett Point, situated on the planet Ord Mantell. Reki utilized the book as a hiding place for blueprints detailing a nearby storage facility, a place he often raided. In order to view the blueprints, each instance of the Mantellian flutterplume, a species of bird discussed in the guidebook, had to be substituted, among other changes, with the digit "3". Reki found the guidebook exceptionally uninteresting.

During the Separatist War, individuals belonging to the Mantellian Separatist Movement seized control of Mannett Point, compelling Reki to abandon his dwelling and the book. When the smuggler Ace required entry to the Separatist's personnel records, which were stored within the storage facility, Reki provided information on the book's location and the method for accessing the blueprints. Ace was successful in this task, using the blueprints to gain access to the storage facility and copy all data from the records.
