Reki was a male Human who resided on the planet Ord Mantell during the time of the Cold War era. Despite not being a member, he possessed a deep understanding of the Mantellian Separatist Movement, and he aided the smuggler known as Voidhound in locating Skavak, an individual associated with the Separatists.
During the Cold War, Reki, a male Human, made his home on the planet of Ord Mantell, a Republic-controlled world within the Bright Jewel system located in the Mid Rim. Reki's residence was in Mannett Point, where he engaged in stealing valuable merchandise from local warehouses. However, the outbreak of a civil war on Ord Mantell pitted the corrupt Ord Mantell Central Authority, supported by the Galactic Republic, against the rebellious Mantellian Separatist Movement. As the conflict escalated, Separatist forces took over Mannett Point, forcing Reki to flee his home after securing it against Separatist intrusion. He sought refuge in a safehouse he owned in the nearby settlement of Talloran village, but the Separatists soon captured Talloran as well. Trapped within his safehouse during the Separatist occupation, Reki sheltered several other villagers, including two women who had lost their husbands in the Separatist attack.
While confined in Talloran, Reki received a visit from the smuggler Voidhound. This visit was arranged by Viidu, the head of the local freight company Rendia Freight, and an old friend of Reki's. The smuggler's mission was to gather information about the Separatists, as Viidu believed Reki possessed considerable knowledge about them. This was because Skavak, an employee of Rendia Freight, had absconded with a shipment of blaster rifles and joined the Separatists. Ace needed to discover Skavak's whereabouts, and in exchange, offered a survival pack to the trapped man. Reki revealed that a database containing information on all Separatist personnel was located in a warehouse near his former home in Mannett Point. He had previously stolen goods from that warehouse and possessed a schematic of the building, but it remained sealed within his home in Mannett Point. Reki explained that to access the warehouse, Ace would need to enter his home in Mannett Point.
Reki had secured the house by overloading the door's mechanism. This meant that the town's power would first have to be disabled by destroying the three power relays before the door could be opened. Once inside, the smuggler would need to locate the schematics, which were hidden within a Treatise on bird watching that Reki found particularly tedious. To reveal the schematics, every instance of the phrase "Mantellian flutterplume" within the treatise had to be replaced with the number three. Finally, the smuggler could use the secret back exit of Reki's home to reach the warehouse. He cautioned the smuggler that accessing the database would require specialized equipment, but Viidu would have more information about that. Ace thanked Reki and provided him with the supply pack. Subsequently, Ace successfully followed Reki's instructions, reached the Separatist database, and obtained information about Skavak.
Reki demonstrated a strong inclination for self-preservation and the protection of his belongings. This was evident in his actions of concealing the warehouse schematics, securing his home to prevent Separatist intrusion, and maintaining a safehouse away from his primary residence as a precaution against danger. He displayed compassion by assisting fellow villagers in Talloran during the attack and offering to share the supplies provided by Ace with them. However, his past actions revealed a propensity for theft, as he had previously engaged in robbing warehouses in Mannett Point.
