This package featured a journey to Tatooine, complete with excursions to the planet's Galactic Zoo and Mos Eisley Cantina. Upon viewing an advertisement for the tour, C-3PO and R2-D2, who were occupied with readying the StarSpeeder 3000 Transport 22 for its launch, concurred that they had no desire to revisit Tatooine; C-3PO specifically stated he hoped Star Tours would keep the tour, as he wanted to avoid another dust contamination incident.
The Trek to Tatooine was presented as a "commercial" that was shown on a sizable video display in the waiting area of the original Star Tours ride at Disney's theme parks.
