Trep Winterrs, a contraband runner, was employed by Professor Arner Figgis. His task was to instruct the professor in the fundamentals of Olys Corellisi and to connect him with individuals fluent in the tongue.
Winterrs escorted the academic to the Black Dust Tavern to facilitate Figgis's linguistic practice and observation. Unfortunately, Figgis's initial attempt to greet Karl Mathieu Ancher resulted in a miscommunication, necessitating Winterrs's intervention to prevent a potential altercation. Winterrs then directed the professor to purchase a beverage for the tavern's employee, after which he guided him to a table for a game of sabaac with some local patrons, thereby creating an opportunity for Figgis to analyze the language as it was spoken.
