Trista Orlanis, a Human female of delicate stature and dark hair, was a student at the University of Agamar. In the year 25 ABY, she joined Doctor Anki Pace as a graduate student on an archaeological expedition to Bimmiel. It was upon the arrival of Ganner Rhysode and Corran Horn on Bimmiel that she became intrigued by Ganner.
During Corran and Ganner's mission to save the enslaved, Trista took to the controls as a pilot of the Dalliance. She released a killscent bomb over the Yuuzhan Vong encampment. This was done with the intention of starting a slashrat infestation, with the aim of destroying the Yuuzhan Vong's slave and search activities. The endeavor proved fruitful.
