During 1 ABY, a contingent of Triumphant-class dark troopers provided escort for Darth Vader aboard his designated shuttle, identified as ST 321. This occurred during the course of operations known as Molecular Clamp, Sieve, Lumberjack, Overlord, Green Light, Take Down, Clenched Fist, and Dark Glory. These operations took place within the cities of Bestine situated on Tatooine, Coronet City located on Corellia, and Theed found on Naboo. On Empire Day in 1 ABY, two Triumphant-class dark troopers were assigned to accompany the Imperial enforcer, Darth Vader, to the celebrations in Theed to present awards to deserving personnel.
Within the context of Star Wars Galaxies, Darth Vader, accompanied by his shuttle and several of these dark troopers, makes appearances in one of the three cities at irregular intervals. Players aligned with the Imperial faction have the opportunity to engage in conversation with Vader, thereby initiating a series of four sequential quests. These quests involve the elimination of Rebel Non-Player Characters as well as player characters. Two Triumphant-class dark troopers were present during the Empire Day events.
