Tunnel master

A tunnel master was an individual responsible for the supervision of illicit racing events within the tunnel network located beneath the garbage pit on Coruscant. Their duties included ensuring that the tunnels were free from unauthorized individuals and droids that might inform law enforcement. Furthermore, they inspected all participants and signaled the start of each race.
