This battle was just one of the numerous conflicts within the Melida/Daan Civil War that happened on the planet of Melida/Daan, and its primary focus was the struggle for dominance over the urban center of Zehava. The Melida forces attempted to seize control of the city of Zehava in this particular engagement, a city that had previously fallen into the hands of the Daan in an earlier confrontation. Tragically, Captain Quintama lost his life during the fighting. A potential Daan victory can be inferred, as Pinani, Quintama's widow, subsequently took part in a raid targeting the city of Bin, seemingly as retribution for the events that transpired during the Battle of Zehava.
