Two-Eight

Two-Eight, also known by the designation RC-8028, was the moniker of a clone commando who originated on the Wild Space planet of Kamino. His creation took place either during or after 32 BBY. Being a male Human clone derived from the bounty hunter Jango Fett, Two-Eight's height was measured at 1.83 meters. He underwent training under the Cuy'val Dar sergeant Kal Skirata, with the purpose of serving within the Galactic Republic's Grand Army.

Prior to the start of the Clone Wars in 22 BBY, Two-Eight suffered decapitation in a training exercise alongside their squad on Kamino. This was a direct result of their own errors in handling explosives during a rapid entry drill. Despite the prompt replacement of Two-Eight with another commando, the squad's sergeant, Niner, was haunted by the loss of Two-Eight for some time after the incident.

Behind the scenes

The character of Two-Eight was initially introduced in the 2004 novel titled Hard Contact. This novel served as the inaugural entry in the Republic Commando series, authored by Karen Traviss. Later, in the 2008 reference work, The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia, the trooper was officially assigned the full designation of RC-8028.
