In the year 25 BBY, through the intervention of Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker—dispatched by the Jedi High Council following a plea from the Galactic Senate—Typha-Dor, led by its "twin rulers" Binalu and Talus, brokered a truce with Vanqor, its long-standing adversary and a nearby planet that had previously sought to invade and seize control of it.
