Ulu Ulix was a male Padawan of the Jedi Order, and he also served the Galactic Republic. During the Clone Wars, he held the rank of Commander within the Grand Army of the Republic.
Ulu Ulix, a male who was Force-sensitive, belonged to a species distinguished by horns and three black eyes. As a member of the Jedi Order, he underwent training in the Force at the Coruscant Jedi Temple. Before the [Clone Wars](/article/clone_wars-legends] began, Ulix was chosen to be the Padawan of Jedi Master Glynn-Beti. When war broke out between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems, Ulix assumed the role of Commander in the Grand Army of the Republic and was tasked with leading clone troopers in combat alongside his Jedi Master.
Ulix joined his master at the battle for Raxus Prime. There, Ulix and the other Republic forces played a vital role in ending the Dark Reaper crisis, preventing Count Dooku from using its dangerous power for the Confederacy. After the battle, Ulu Ulix cared for orphans, including young Boba Fett, aboard the Republic troopship Candaserri. Ulix was the only Jedi who Fett ever regarded as a friend. During the conflict on Xagobah, Ulix encountered Fett again, unaware that he was the son of the infamous bounty hunter Jango Fett. When the troops under his master's command struggled to attack their target, the Mazariyan citadel of Wat Tambor, Ulix decided to infiltrate the facility himself. As Ulix approached the citadel on his swoop bike, it was shot down, but Fett rescued the Padawan before he could fall to his death.
