Undauntable

The Undauntable, an Imperial-class Star Destroyer, served under the leadership of Admiral Jaim Helaw. Despite being the most aged vessel in its sector, Admiral Helaw ensured its upkeep was top-notch. Before the Battle of Yavin occurred, it was placed in Admiral Motti's fleet, and its mission was to protect the Death Star construction at Despayre.

Prior to the battle station being completed, a Rebel operative successfully detonated a cargo container filled with explosives within the ship's rear cargo bay, leading to the Undauntable's destruction. There were no survivors.

To conceal the true cause of the ship's destruction, Grand Moff Tarkin, with the aid of Motti and Admiral Daala, orchestrated a cover-up. Officially, the loss of the Undauntable was attributed to an accident, with the blame being unfairly placed on the deceased Admiral Helaw, thus damaging his previously unblemished reputation. Later, Admiral Daala attempted an inquiry into the events, but her efforts proved unsuccessful.
