Unidentified Akwin

A member belonging to the Akwin species had his holoimage captured by a trader. This individual, along with five other Akwin, then disguised themselves in robes and confronted the trader, ultimately retrieving the image. They did this after discovering the trader had taken the holoimage, and felt it was necessary to take action.

Biography

Following the formation of the New Republic in 4 ABY, one Akwin resided on an island situated off the coast of the Laz continent on the planet of Lazerian IV. During his time there, a trader secretly took a holoimage of the Akwin. Subsequently, the trader departed for a bar to share what he believed was a sighting of a sea monster. The Akwin, however, noticed the trader taking the picture and returned to the sea to alert his fellow Akwin. Despite the trader's attempts to convince others, his claims were largely dismissed.

Nevertheless, some travelers in the bar were convinced by the trader's story and bought him drinks. As they drank, he revealed the location where he had captured the image. An Imperial marine biologist also became interested in the Akwin's existence and journeyed to the island to investigate. Meanwhile, the Akwin, accompanied by five others, ambushed the trader as he left the bar. They were wearing robes to conceal their identities. The travelers intervened to protect the trader, but the Akwin subdued them, being careful not to inflict any serious injuries. The Akwin successfully absconded with the holoimage. Shortly after, the travelers went to the island where the first Akwin was seen, only to be confronted by more Akwin, who challenged their presence.
