A landscape painting depicting the well-known Appenza Peak mountain was exhibited at the Royal Palace of Alderaan during the year 28 BBY. While visiting Alderaan, Senator Padmé Amidala from Naboo observed the painting and commented that the colors used gave off a somber and ominous feeling, and the lake situated at the base of Appenza Peak seemed murky and frigid.
