Unidentified Dug guard
A protector from the Dug species was watching over a village. When bandits under the leadership of Kouru launched an assault on the village, the chief alerted the guards, who then intervened to shield the villagers. Kouru was mounted on a customized probe droid. After the Sith murdered their Trandoshan leader, the remaining guards were eliminated by a subsequent wave of bandits. He also opened fire and collided with a dwelling.
Behind the scenes
The Dug's initial appearance was in "The Duel," a short film from the Star Wars: Visions anthology. Takanobu Mizuno directed the short, Kamikaze Douga produced it, and it premiered on Disney+ on September 22, 2021. Tasuku Kida provided the original Japanese voice acting, while Adam Sietz voiced the character in the English version.
