Unidentified flat-backed river species

A unique type of creature, defined by its flattened back and shell-like armor, lived in the rivers of Felucia, which is a planet located in the Outer Rim Territories. The Jungle Felucians utilized these animals as mounts, navigating the waterways upon their backs.

During the period spanning from 3 BBY to 1 BBY, Galen Marek employed the Force to summon one of these creatures. After establishing a mental link, Marek determined that the creature was, at most, semisentient and subsequently used it as a means of transportation across a section of Felucia during his mission to locate and confront the Jedi Master, Shaak Ti.
