At one juncture, a member affiliated with the New Jedi Order undertook a journey for reconnaissance purposes to the Deep Core planet called Prakith. Alas, this Jedi was seized by surviving elements of the Inquisitorius, a group of Dark Jedi who had been in service to the Galactic Empire, and subsequently incarcerated within the confines of the Citadel Inquisitorius. Within those walls, the Inquisitors initiated a gradual process intended to convert the Jedi to the dark side of the Force, prompting the deployment of a team to liberate the captive Jedi. Upon their arrival on Prakith, the rescuers were met by the Inquisitor Shynne, who schemed to compel the captured Jedi into combat against them, as the ultimate act to make the Jedi give in to the dark side.
