This line of MSE droids, which moved on tracks, had a restricted range of motion. They could ingest nuts, bolts, and other replacement parts, even corroded droid components. This particular design represented one of the initial versions within the MSE product line.
The short-lived travel agency known as Star Tours possessed a pair of these droids. One was designated MSE-1T, whereas the second, less fortunate unit, suffered damage and was repurposed as a table for G3-5LE. These droid models were commonly seen at the Droidnostics Center located within the spaceport.
Hasbro launched MSE-1T as a special Star Tours action figure in 2005, although its specific model designation wasn't disclosed.
These droids aren't only present in the Disney's Hollywood Studios iteration of Star Tours; they also appear at Tokyo Disneyland. The "Spot the Droid" poster displayed at the Tokyo spaceport indicated that they resided within the Droidnostics center, and a map of the attraction also mentioned that passengers are incredibly fortunate if they spot one.
