Unidentified frilled reptiloid species

This reptilian species possessed prominent neck frills and wide tails. An individual from this race served as a diplomat for the New Republic, as a member of this species.

Behind the scenes

Terryl Whitlatch provided the illustrations of this species for The Wildlife of Star Wars: A Field Guide, which was released in 2001 through Chronicle Books. They bear a resemblance to beings from the Viis Empire in the Alien Chronicles series, which Whitlatch also illustrated.
