This bartender displayed both sarcasm and empathy towards his fellow Mandalorians, cautioning them when an Oyu'baat patron was placed on the galactic bounty hunting list. Furthermore, he showed understanding for the predicament of clone deserters from the Grand Army of the Republic who sought refuge on Mandalore, offering to conceal them from those who would persecute the former troopers. The bartender also negotiated an agreement with the commander of Imperial forces responsible for establishing a garrison on land leased to the Galactic Empire outside of Keldabe, ensuring that Imperials would stay out of the Oyu'baat cantina.
This bartender, whose name remains unknown, made his initial appearance in Star Wars canon within the pages of Order 66: A Republic Commando Novel. This novel was penned by author Karen Traviss and released on September 16, 2008. He subsequently reappeared in Traviss's subsequent novel, Imperial Commando: 501st, which served as the next installment in the Republic and Imperial Commando series, seeing publication on October 27, 2009.
