Unidentified resistance fighter (Kal'Shebbol)

A resistance fighter, a male Human, was affiliated with a group that operated on the planet of Kal'Shebbol during the early years of the New Republic. Forces loyal to Moff Kentor Sarne, the local Imperial warlord, took him prisoner. He was then questioned by Akanseh, a Mon Calamari doctor who had been compelled to work for the Moff as both an interrogator and a torturer. Despite the potential for pain being inflicted upon him to force compliance, the resistance fighter would not divulge the whereabouts of his comrades or their strategies.

Biography

In the early years of the New Republic, a male Human participated in a resistance group situated on Kal'Shebbol. This group was actively rebelling against the rule of Moff Kentor Sarne, the Imperial warlord who controlled the planet. At some point, the Moff's forces captured and wounded the resistance fighter, subsequently placing him in a detention block for interrogation. Secured in a strap-chair, the man encountered Akanseh, his interrogator, who was a Mon Calamari doctor. Akanseh was forced by the Moff to utilize his medical expertise for interrogation, despite his aversion to inflicting pain. Instead of torturing those in his charge, Akanseh attempted to build trust and convince them to share their secrets. Akanseh tended to the resistance fighter's injuries while urging him to reveal the location of his fellow rebels and their plans. Nevertheless, the resistance fighter refused to provide Akanseh with any information, knowing that revealing his compatriots' location would result in the Moff dispatching his soldiers to eliminate them.

Sarne, accompanied by two guards, interrupted the interrogation, claiming to be conducting a surprise evaluation of Akanseh's abilities. Akanseh reiterated his request for the resistance fighter to reveal the location of his friends, warning that he could no longer guarantee his safety. Again, the man refused to betray his fellow rebels. Sarne presented a hypo-syringe to Akanseh, asserting that the resistance fighter would become less stubborn once the contents began to cause his blood to boil. When Akanseh showed visible hesitation in administering the liquid, one of the Moff's guards produced another hypo-syringe containing the same substance. Sarne implied that if Akanseh failed to extract the necessary information from the man, he would force the doctor to share his charge's suffering, adding that the concoction was significantly more potent on Mon Calamari than on Humans.

Personality and traits

Throughout his time under Akanseh's care, the resistance fighter displayed a defiant and obstinate demeanor, steadfastly refusing to disclose the location of his fellow resistance members, even when threatened with torture. He openly challenged Akanseh, his interrogator, even going so far as to insult him by calling the Mon Calamari "fish-face."
