A sun, of a small yellow hue, existed in an Unknown Regions star system, situated roughly 250 light-years away from the boundary separating that region from Wild Space. During 27 BBY, the captain of the light freighter Bargain Hunter, Dubrak Qennto, upon the vessel's arrival in the star system via a random hyperspace leap from the Outer Rim Territories, expressed his delight at seeing the star. He did this by negatively describing the interstellar space where the starship had initially materialized from its jump, calling it "dark and cold and lonely."
Timothy Zahn's novel Outbound Flight, published in 2006, featured this star. The reference book The Essential Atlas, from 2009, implied its location within grid square I-7.
