Unified Hjaff government

The seat of power for the planet of Hjaff was situated within the Colonies sector of the galaxy.

History

Following a lengthy period marked by numerous conflicts, the Tarc nations ultimately put an end to their internal strife. They coalesced into a singular governing body, presided over by a leader known as the Keddek and a council of three leaders representing each continent. This new entity initiated space exploration within neighboring systems, successfully establishing twenty colonies. The Tarc were deeply disturbed upon encountering alien life. Interpreting these extraterrestrial beings as a menace, they promptly withdrew and halted all further space exploration. The colonized systems were left as a protective barrier between the Tarc and the rest of the galaxy.

Shortly after their initial encounter, a war erupted with the Galactic Empire. The Tarc navy, known as the Ivlacav Gourn, launched attacks against Imperial vessels that entered Tarc-controlled space. These engagements resulted in a series of skirmishes, all of which ended in Tarc victories.

Organization

Government

This governing body was comprised of the united governments of the independent nations that had previously existed on the planet. Characterized by its isolationist policies, it stood as one of the few secluded civilizations in the galaxy. It was headed by an elected leader, the Keddek, and a trio of elected continental leaders who served as advisors. The Keddek was bound to adhere to the Hjaff constitution. Furthermore, the constitution granted the three continental leaders the authority to remove the Keddek from their position.

Military

The Ivlacav Gourn served as the military branch of the Tarc species. Its primary function was to safeguard Tarc territories from the perceived corrupting influence of galactic culture.
