Depiction

On the left side of the artwork, a Mon Calamari artisan, identified as Ceric, is portrayed, while a Twi'lek performer, identified as Tails, is presented on the right. In the middle of the painting, a small-scale battle is depicted occurring near an Imperial Forward Outpost. Furthermore, a group consisting of three Stormtroopers, one Scout trooper, and one Shocktrooper are illustrated in a combat-ready pose. The Aurebesh inscription located in the center section of the painting translates to "United in Our Cause." At the painting's base, the inscription reads, "Crafters, Fighters, Ents," which is a shortened term for entertainers. This inscription clearly references the artisan, fighters, and performer depicted above.

Behind the scenes

United in Our Cause was a painting that was available to Star Wars Galaxies players for a limited duration. It could be acquired from a Non-Player Character (NPC) situated in Mos Eisley. This painting was chosen by player vote, narrowly defeating another painting titled A Day Long Remembered. A third painting, simply called Empire, was also part of the voting process, but it received the least amount of votes.

The artwork was crafted by "Zel," a Star Wars Galaxies player belonging to the Mercs and Skilled Craftsmen guild, or MASC, on the Bloodfin server. The Mon Calamari artisan and the Twi'lek performer are said to have been based on the characters of two other players, "Ceric" and "Tails" respectively, who were also members of the MASC guild. Zel stated that, after their passing, he wished to honor their memory by including their player names in the painting.
