The UAG, short for the Universal Analysis Group, functioned as a component of the Chiss Ascendancy. Positioned on Sposia, the UAG acted as a central hub for the processing of alien artifacts and technological discoveries, amassing and scrutinizing these objects. A significant number of its historical finds were allocated to various art collections or museums, whereas any technological components underwent analysis to evaluate their potential utility for the Ascendancy. While the majority of technological items were either in disrepair or fragmentary, leading to their documentation for storage or outright destruction, functional items were selected for examination by scientists. Vault Four represented a specific storage area within the UAG, designated for items deemed to possess military significance.
