I came into existence roughly six months prior to the initial release of Return of the Jedi, making it difficult to pinpoint the exact moment I became a Star Wars enthusiast. Nevertheless, it's safe to say that I've been a long-time admirer, encompassing the films, television shows, and content originating from the Expanded Universe. Having said that, I harbor no ill will towards Disney, and I grasp the rationale behind their decisions concerning the Expanded Universe. Considering their future cinematic endeavors and Rebels, maintaining the Expanded Universe as canon proved impractical. The revised system presents a chance for a more cohesive and consistent canon, addressing the numerous inconsistencies that had emerged over the years. I am already quite enthusiastic about certain choices that have been implemented, like James Luceno penning a Tarkin novel, and the recruitment of celebrated children's authors like Tony DiTerlizzi and R.J. Palacio to create Young Reader's adaptations of stories from the original trilogy.

You'll likely observe my frequent involvement in canon-related articles, although I do engage with and may occasionally edit articles pertaining to past "Legends" material. Furthermore, you might find me undertaking maintenance tasks such as proofreading, formatting, or managing categorization and template adjustments, largely as a component of the extensive effort required to update the wiki to accurately reflect Canon/Legends designations. I also diligently monitor forthcoming releases, such as Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back Read-Along Storybook and CD, and I have been incorporating information about these as it becomes available.

Presently, Wookieepedia stands as the sole wiki where I maintain a high level of activity. However, I hold inactive administrative roles in several other wikis, most notably the Harry Potter Wiki. Additionally, I have made significant contributions to the Memory Alpha (Star Trek) wiki in the past, and I essentially constructed the wiki for Eternal Sonata from its very inception.
