Hello! The primary reason for the absence of years is the lack of concrete dates for their settings. While I acknowledge your concern, I question whether including "by" or "between" improves clarity, given their unconfirmed nature and the timeline's chronological intent. Considering Timeline of canon comics, specifically "First Mission" and "Set For Life", would such additions enhance chronological flow? This isn't a criticism of the list or its creators. Perhaps a note at the page's beginning explaining the empty year boxes would suffice. I am always open to improving these lists for both Wook editors and readers Lewisr (talk) 18:23, 26 January 2023 (UTC)
Hello! It's perfectly fine; I completely understand your helpful intentions! The year is indeed accurate, and those issues are concurrent. I will incorporate that into the timeline page. Thanks for pointing that out. I appreciate that. I'm unsure how to address your technical issues, but I hope they resolve themselves soon Lewisr (talk) 01:14, 27 January 2023 (UTC)
Hello! I'm not entirely convinced that incorporating this into the timeline pages is a good idea, as it might lead to requests for including book chapters, potentially overloading the pages. A broader discussion is likely needed before proceeding Lewisr (talk) 21:39, 27 January 2023 (UTC)
- If we were to include individual missions based on the rationale that 'there are chapters of stories that link closely with other comics/novels and films', then we would need to add not only 13 additional rows from Battlefront II, but also the Squadrons missions, and missions from other games as well. The timeline is intended for media items, not specific in-game events, which would be better suited for a galactic history timeline. Adaptations and similar items do belong on the timeline, and you can hide them using the "click to hide" button at the table's top.
The difference between short story anthologies and Star Wars Adventures comics (where two stories in an issue are separated on the timeline) and campaign missions is that the former are distinct media pieces, unlike video game missions. This topic is worth raising on the timeline of canon media's discussion page Lewisr (talk) 00:46, 28 January 2023 (UTC)
I'm curious as to why you reverted this. The game contains more than just the prototype; there's one present on Kashyyyk Lewisr (talk) 19:10, 6 February 2023 (UTC)
- I am aware of the Second Sister's TIE being a prototype. However, this doesn't account for the TIE interceptor visible during the Kashyyyk space battle upon your initial arrival. here is an image of it Lewisr ( talk ) 16:55, 8 February 2023 (UTC) Perhaps that is the case, but we currently lack evidence suggesting it's a prototype. The databank has frequently been superseded by later story releases, so this appears to be another such instance Lewisr (talk) 18:50, 8 February 2023 (UTC)
Hello, and thank you for your contribution and image addition. I wanted to inform you that uploaded images must have proper sources and categories, or they will be removed. Cheers! Bonzane10 (holonet) 17:40, 4 June 2023 (UTC)
- Hello again! While we may not have a formal tutorial, this video should be a helpful starting point. I used this video to learn about image uploading myself. Bonzane10 (holonet) 18:11, 4 June 2023 (UTC)
Hello! I apologize for any lack of clarity regarding underscores. The filename on the page always renders underscores as spaces, but that's not a concern. Simply formatting image names with underscores within the article—as I've already done during copy-editing your nomination—is sufficient. I hope this clarifies things, and best of luck with your nomination! Anıl Şerifoğlu (talk) 22:29, 3 September 2023 (UTC)
You're very welcome! Please don't hesitate to contact me with any non-nomination-related questions you may have! Anıl Şerifoğlu (talk) 01:08, 6 September 2023 (UTC)
Hello! By adding this to entries lacking a "Released" value, you ensure they appear at the list's end when sorted by "Released," rather than above Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope. See the entry on the discussion page of Timeline of canon media. Similarly, for values with unknown "XX," using the latest date within that unknown period ensures proper placement at the end. Otherwise, "2025-XX-XX" would be sorted above "2025-01-01." Therefore, data-sort-value=2025-12-31 should be used in this instance, and data-sort-value=2025-06-30 for "2025-06-XX," etc. I hope this helps! Rebelcrimsonbear (talk) 15:37, 9 January 2025 (UTC)
