I apologize for any misunderstanding concerning the droid page and the template. If you could verify the existence of the droids on Carrick Station, I will then remove the template and properly cite the information. My ability to play TOR is somewhat limited, which is why I ask. I have been using for mounts and weapons pages as well. Because these items appear in the game in various locations and missions, could they be cited to the game in general? I would value your input on this. Thank you! Fan26 (Talk) 17:22, March 15, 2019 (UTC)
- Appreciated. I think I'll refrain from using the Citation template on similar articles going forward. Thanks again. Fan26 (Talk) 19:33, March 15, 2019 (UTC) Hello, my previous message about the citation template and the droid was meant to include items like weapons and speeders. My apologies for the lack of clarity. Fan26 (Talk) 21:43, March 15, 2019 (UTC)
Hi Winterz, I posted a question for you in one of the TC threads. I hope you've seen it. Asithol (talk) 21:17, March 25, 2019 (UTC)
Firstly, congratulations on starting that huge project. Secondly, I was about to add "Lassicar's parents" to the characters section. To avoid an edit conflict, could you let me know when you will be taking a break so I can add them? Fan26 (Talk) 14:46, March 26, 2019 (UTC)
- Wonderful, thank you! Fan26 ( Talk ) 15:00, March 26, 2019 (UTC) Great, thanks for taking care of that; I've experienced the same difficulty with that page, as probably everyone has. If you're interested in completing the list, all the redlinks on my TOR projects subpage are planned additions. Fan26 (Talk) 15:29, March 26, 2019 (UTC)
Haha, thank you so much! Anıl Şerifoğlu (talk) 23:12, April 2, 2019 (UTC)
Greetings! As a significant contributor to SWTOR content, your opinion is requested on this matter. Thank you. Fan26 (Talk) 14:26, April 10, 2019 (UTC)
I would object to its removal. Creating articles for every single NPC is not only impossible but also unnecessary (for example, the numerous criminal NPCs with names like "Gang-name synonym-for-fighter" or the various creature NPCs named "adjective creature-name"). However, articles for NPCs that represent clear in-universe concepts without excessive detail, such as military units like the Eternal Empire trooper and its variations, are valuable. Fan26 (Talk) 12:43, April 11, 2019 (UTC)
- Their in-universe significance lies in their role as distinct types of soldiers employed by the Eternal Empire. Even if their names are derived from game mechanics, the game assigns these names, making them their 'canonical' designation. Fan26 ( Talk ) 14:24, April 11, 2019 (UTC) It's likely that the special operator was capitalized because I believed it to be a different type of unit from the others. Either it or the others might need renaming. Regarding the creation of articles for every NPC, I previously discussed this on IRC and decided to create articles only for clearly defined in-universe units, treating the rest as game mechanics. For that list of Imperial NPCs, probably less than half would qualify. Your suggestion to include them on their respective militaries' pages confuses me; following that logic, Stormtrooper should simply redirect to a subsection on Imperial Military. As for the images, I didn't have the game when I created the articles and haven't accessed the star fortress missions yet. I intend to replace them as soon as possible. Fan26 (Talk) 12:44, April 12, 2019 (UTC) As a reasonable in-universe soldier type, as opposed to the numerous insignificant Imperial soldier types generated by game mechanics, it deserves its own page. Fan26 (Talk) 12:56, April 12, 2019 (UTC)
As a long-time user, please remember to include sources and references for all information added to Wookieepedia. This allows others to verify the content. If you revert the removal, the information must be referenced; otherwise, it will be reverted again. --DarthRuiz30 (talk) 06:13, October 25, 2019 (UTC)
- I understand that much of the information lacks sources, but that's not an excuse to add more unsourced content. The information is now sourced. -- DarthRuiz30 ( talk ) 06:31, October 25, 2019 (UTC)
I actually discussed this with an IP user here. They determined the 3629 date based on the final conversation with Scourge and Kira, and I created a reference note for them. I apologize; I assumed you had already seen that and simply forgot to source the date. My mistake. Fan26 (Talk) 14:50, October 29, 2019 (UTC)
- It appears you've already noted that you've seen it. The logic seems valid to me, but if you believe a SH thread is necessary, please proceed. Fan26 ( Talk ) 14:53, October 29, 2019 (UTC) Which companion conversations at the end of KOTET are you referring to? As far as I know, only Kira and Scourge indirectly mention the Battle of Zakuul occurring about a year prior. Fan26 (Talk) 15:01, October 29, 2019 (UTC)
Thank you for informing me. I'm pleased that someone is proactively addressing how the Wook will handle this new and complex phase of TOR, even though I may not fully agree with all of your proposed methods.
Please understand that I need time to consider this; I'm unsure if I agree with the proposal, and I'm not convinced that it's impossible to continue covering everything in the BtS.
I've reviewed the CT and suggest clarifying that it also affects the Ossus and Dantooine storylines, as well as the Onslaught expansion, given that the faction decision was made before Ossus. Additionally, explain how this addresses the Loyalist/Saboteur mechanic. I haven't played Onslaught or watched many walkthroughs, so I'm unfamiliar with the differences between a Republic victory in the Republic loyalist storyline and the Imperial saboteur storyline (or vice versa for an Imperial victory), but I assume there are differences that the CT should address. Fan26 (Talk) 03:45, November 2, 2019 (UTC)
- I apologize, but I have already clearly stated my thoughts on this. Fan26 ( Talk ) 15:05, November 2, 2019 (UTC) I was just about to inquire about that on the CT page; thank you for addressing it. I'll take a look now. Fan26 (Talk) 15:25, November 2, 2019 (UTC)
Hey Winterz, please remember to use TORcite when creating new TOR articles. Thank you, Fan26 (Talk) 15:08, November 7, 2019 (UTC)
- Please review the instructions on the Template:TORcite page for citing class missions. Also, the date reference requires further explanation to justify placing the specific event in 3642. Fan26 ( Talk ) 19:35, November 7, 2019 (UTC) I apologize if my message came across poorly; that was not my intention. I'm only halfway through the Warrior's Korriban storyline, so I'm hesitant to modify a date reference for something I haven't experienced myself. You're right; I could (and should) have corrected the template myself. Sorry again. Fan26 (Talk) 20:22, November 7, 2019 (UTC)
