Vagan Kolvy was a male who resided on the planet known as Dathomir. He was once affiliated with the Scissorfists Clan, a group locked in a long-standing conflict with the Blue Coral Divers Clan, another group that had established themselves close to the ocean. Following years of conflict, the two clans made an attempt to resolve their disagreements through a formal discussion. Kolvy participated as a member of the Scissorfists delegation, and it was during one of these discussions that Kolvy encountered and developed feelings for Sha'natrac Tsu, who was part of the opposing clan's delegation. When the peace negotiations failed, the clans resumed their conflict, and both Kolvy and Tsu faced pressure from their respective clans to eliminate each other. Upon their refusal, they were both labeled as traitors and expelled from their clans. The two lovers then established a home near the Dathomir Spaceport, far beyond the hunting territories of their previous clans.
Kolvy met his death around 38 ABY, after which Tsu began to accept employment as a courier or hunter. When questioned regarding Kolvy, Tsu would state that he had passed away and that she intended to avenge his death. The Jedi Knight Ben Skywalker later proposed the theory that Kolvy and Tsu had a child, and that Kolvy was murdered by the Nightsisters when they abducted their offspring.
