The Vanguard Axis, alternatively referenced as the Axis Vanguard, functioned as a criminal syndicate in the aftermath of the Clone Wars. It originated as a splinter faction of the Droid Gotra criminal organization. This group participated in unlawful activities, encompassing smuggling, forgery, and slavery. Entirely managed by K3 security droids, including its leader, the group's central base of operations was located on a space station.
The initial appearance of the Vanguard Axis occurred in the The Bad Batch episode titled "Tribe", which is part of the second season.
