During 22 BBY, he collaborated with Merish Hath and Shil Kaval. Later, Orla Taman joined them, who was ultimately exposed as Hallena Devis, a Republic operative working undercover. Subsequently, he joined the local insurgents in a revolt directed against the Republic-backed Regent ruling the world. After Devis's true identity as a spy came to light, he, together with Merish and Shil, seized her as a hostage.
