Vault S-86

The Galactic Republic designated a structure as Vault S-86. This vault, a Rakata creation, was built by the ancient Infinite Empire on Belsavis, specifically within the area later designated the High Security Section of that planet. During the tense Cold War era between the Republic and the Sith Empire, Republic scientists, led by Doctor Gantrell, used Vault S-86 as a storage location for armaments. These weapons were the product of research focused on the prison's power core. Subsequently, a band of Gamorrean prisoners tried to abscond with these arms, but their attempt was thwarted by the Jedi Knight celebrated as the Hero of Tython.
