Verkul Seimbo, a Filordus of male gender, existed in the final years of the Galactic Republic. Employed by the Metatheran Cartel, Seimbo rose to prominence around 31 BBY, taking command of a small Filordi faction within the organization. He encountered Alina Impeveri, a Human, on Varna Biqua, where they deliberated on forging a collaborative criminal venture. Following the resolution of their scheme's specifics, Impeveri and Seimbo established a criminal enterprise named the "Syndicate" by Impeveri, setting up their headquarters within the Ishkik caverns located on the planet Cularin. Leveraging his influence inside the Cartel, Seimbo furnished the Rock Rogues, a pirate band recruited by him and Impeveri, with intelligence regarding Cartel shipping patterns in the Cularin system, thereby enabling the Rogues to assault Cartel vessels and plunder their freight.
