Vesps, venomous lizards native to the planet Lok, were known for their habit of fighting in pairs. These creatures would try to surround their target, striking with their spiky tails. Lok was home to various vesp species, such as Desert Vesps, Gorge Vesps, and Mountain Vesps.
After the Battle of Yavin, the collector Breac Slaus hired a team of spacers with the mission of hunting down and eliminating a large quantity of vesps.
The 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game created by Sony Online Entertainment and released by LucasArts, featured Vesps. The game was shut down on December 15, 2011.
