During the conflict on Hoth, also known as the Battle of Hoth, Vildar Blin, a soldier of the Rebel forces, and his aide dashed from the defensive positions of Echo Base in order to engage a disabled Imperial AT-AT. Unfortunately, as Blin and his aide approached the walker, a Rebel snowspeeder fired upon and obliterated the AT-AT, causing an explosion that resulted in the deaths of both Blin and his companion.
