Vinette Robinson, a British actress, was born in the year 1981. She played the character Wrobie Tyce in the 2019 film production of Star Wars: Episode IX The Rise of Skywalker, where she was credited as "Pilot Tyce." She is also well-known for her role as police sergeant Sally Donovan on the BBC television show Sherlock. In addition, she played the roles of teacher Liza Bahar in the Black Mirror episode titled "Hated in the Nation" and civil rights activist Rosa Parks in the Doctor Who episode "Rosa."
Robinson's very first audition was for the role of Queen Amidala in the 1999 film, Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace, but the role was ultimately given to Natalie Portman. Robinson found this audition challenging, due to her strong Yorkshire accent. She has stated that she "didn't know what to do and I was really nervous and I felt like I had to talk really proper, like I tried to talk properly," and that she also had to "sit up really straight".
