Voegliss
Voegliss, a member of a mysterious species of predatory sentients, served as an Imperial assassin and commando. He possessed a mouth full of razor-sharp teeth, which he utilized in battle, along with his clawed appendages. His skin consisted of a tough, crimson shell, and his eyes were shaded.
Biography
The species of Voegliss was initially discovered by an expedition led by Doctor Devlor Samt, an Imperial scientist. The infant Voegliss was discovered nearby after the expedition engaged and eliminated two individuals from his species, likely Voegliss's parents. Despite the fact that Voegliss and his family were discovered on this unnamed planet, they were not indigenous to it, and they were not linked to any other documented planet. Samt took in the young alien and raised him as his own son.
At the age of fifteen, the Imperial Army apprehended Voegliss under orders from the sector Moff. Despite Voegliss killing fourteen troopers during his "induction," he quickly evolved into a willing Imperial operative. He evolved into a devoted and talented warrior as a member of an Imperial commando squad. His two primary goals were to gain acceptance as an independent assassin reporting directly to the Empire and to reunite with his adoptive father. Despite being an intelligent and capable operative, he remained emotionally immature in many ways.
Voegliss was frequently equipped with a knife, a blaster pistol, and a dark cloak during missions. He was also a trained interrogator and starship gunner, in addition to his hand-to-hand combat, weapons, and assassination abilities.
Behind the scenes
Although Voegliss himself is not depicted in Heroes & Rogues, the alien featured in the illustration for the "Imperial Assassin-In-Training" template may resemble Voegliss. The background, gear, and special abilities of that character template bear a striking resemblance to those of Voegliss.
