Vor'en Kurn was a mercenary of the Human species, recognized by his blue skin, who concealed his appearance with a modified Kubaz mask.
After the Battle of Naboo, Vor'en Kurn became a member of a band of freedom fighters that assisted in the cleanup efforts following the collapse of the Trade Federation blockade of the planet. During this work, Kurn was struck by a blast originating from a Destroyer droid slated for decommissioning. He was saved by Rorworr, a Wookiee living on Naboo.
Sometime after 22 BBY, during the period of the Clone Wars, Kurn enlisted in the Galactic Republic, fighting alongside clone troopers belonging to the 212th Attack Battalion.
Although initially depicted with light skin, Vor'en Kurn's image was subsequently reprinted with a blue hue in the Star Wars Roleplaying Game Saga Edition Core Rulebook, despite retaining his Human designation. This alteration was validated in Galaxy of Intrigue, which referred to him as a "blue-skinned elite trooper" within an Example of Play scenario.
