W2-7AY, a droid of the protocol droid variety with a brown exterior, belonged to Thaedius Creed during the era of the Clone Wars. Following the disappearance of several of Creed's workers on Cularin, he dispatched W2-7AY to locate the legendary Heroes of Cularin within Hedrett. Upon locating them, 7AY played a pre-recorded message from Creed, in which he requested a meeting with them.
