Wad'e Tay'haai was a male Human, one of the seventy-five Mandalorian warriors making up the unit known as the Cuy'val Dar.
Jango Fett personally selected him as one of a group of highly experienced training sergeants, the Cuy'val Dar, tasked with the training of elite clone commandos for the Grand Army of the Republic. Following the First Battle of Geonosis, most of the Cuy'val Dar departed after fulfilling their contractual obligations. However, Jedi Master Arligan Zey later requested the return of some to train clone troopers chosen for commando cross-training, including the covert ops clone troopers. Tay'haai was hesitant, but ultimately joined Mij Gilamar in accepting the offer, motivated by a hidden agenda: to aid Kal Skirata in his investigation of the Republic's evolving tactics as the Clone Wars drew to a close.
Only a few days following Order 66, near the conclusion of the Clone Wars, Tay'haai deserted the GAR alongside liberated clones in a group headed by Kal Skirata.
Wearing Mandalorian armor of a purple hue, Tay'haai's arsenal included a bevii'ragir, a traditional Mandalorian hunting spear, and a bes'bev flute weapon.
