Water-vascular system

The aiwha, native to Kamino, and the carchar from Droxine, both possessed a unique water-vascular system. This special system enabled these creatures to manage their weight and density. This system was made up of two parts. To begin, the aiwhas had "buoyancy chambers" located inside their skulls; these chambers would fill up with water when the aiwhas submerged into Kamino's oceans, and then they would empty when the creatures came back to the surface. Additionally, they had substantial layers of absorbent tissue on their undersides and wings that would hold and discharge water as needed, allowing them to adjust their internal balance.
