Weblin held the position of Regional Governor within the Galactic Republic and subsequently ascended to the rank of Grand Moff under the rule of the Galactic Empire.
Following Emperor Palpatine's proclamation establishing the Galactic Empire in 19 BBY, Weblin was appointed as Grand Moff overseeing Sector 6, concurrently taking command of the 6th Sector Army, more commonly referred to as Black Sword Command.
In honor of his service, the Imperial Navy later designated a fleet tender as the Moff Weblin.
