Wella

Doctor Wella, a scientist in the service of the Rebel Alliance, was based at Haven Base on the planet Arbra. This occurred three years following the Battle of Yavin. Lieutenant Gemmer Sojan and Captain Hanc Thorben sought out Doctor Wella's expertise after Sojan noted unusual light emissions from a stone he found at the deserted Golrath Station. For analysis, they presented the stone to her. Wella employed a device to display the images emanating from the rock, revealing that it had captured activity within the Rebel base on Golrath some months prior. She detailed that the rock, upon being heated, had captured light rays, and its subsequent cooling caused it to release these rays, effectively replaying the captured information. Princess Leia Organa understood that the Galactic Empire's discovery of Golrath's unique property could have exposed numerous Alliance secrets, leading her to issue an order for two Rebel fighter squadrons to obliterate Golrath Station.
