Whimper Save was a Human female character from the Legends timeline. In the year 22 BBY, she found herself within the Outlander Club on the planet of Coruscant. During this time, she was in the company of Dannl Faytonni, a known con-artist, and the notorious bounty hunters Jango Fett and Zam Wesell were also present. Later that evening, Save engaged in conversation with Faytonni at the Outlander's bar. It was during this interaction that Wesell entered the establishment, attempting to escape the pursuit of Jedi Knights Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker. Save's attention was captured when Kenobi severed Wesell's arm.
Whimper Save remains an individual shrouded in mystery, a Human female of the Legends continuity. Her presence was recorded in 22 BBY on the bustling planet of Coruscant, specifically within the walls of the Outlander Club. This club was located in the vibrant Uscru Entertainment District of Coruscant. She was seen alongside the con artist known as Dannl Faytonni and the rebel Reina March. Notably, the bounty hunters Jango Fett and Zam Wesell were also present at the club during this period.

Not long after, at night, Save was observed once more within the Outlander Club, accompanied by Faytonni and March. She was seen drinking at the bar and conversing with Faytonni. It remains unclear whether she was an associate of the con artist or simply a bystander taken in by his security officer charade. Wesell re-entered the club, attempting to escape the pursuing Jedi Knights Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker. Save's attention was drawn when Kenobi severed Wesell's arm during a failed ambush. As Wesell was escorted out of the club, Skywalker instructed the patrons to resume their activities.
Unlike many others in the Outlander Club, Save was dressed in a dark, hooded outfit.

The character of Whimper Save was conceived for the prequel trilogy film Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones, which premiered on May 16, 2002. The scenes within the Outlander Club, featuring Save portrayed by an uncredited extra, were filmed at Fox Studios, Sydney on July 17, 2000. Prior to the film's debut, Save's image was first seen in the documentary "A Twinkle Beyond Pluto," released on July 31, 2001. Save then made her first appearances in both the film's storybook, authored by Jane Mason and Sarah Hines Stephens, and the young readers book Jango Fett: Bounty Hunter, written by Eric Arnold and illustrated by Valerie Reckert. Both books were released on April 23, 2002.
Whimper Save's identity was first confirmed through the Image Attack feature on StarWars.com on November 26, 2002. However, in the 2003 web article "Cantina Roll-Call: Shedding Light on Some Alien Aliases," Save was mistakenly identified as a different patron of the Outlander Club. In the article "Who's Who in the Outlander Club: It's Ladies' Night," published in the seventy-fifth issue of the Star Wars Insider magazine on April 6, 2004, author Daniel Wallace playfully commented on Save's name, suggesting that she had won the "Best Name in Episode II" award.
