During his tenure as secretary for Tour Aryon, Wilhalm Skrim's workplace was situated within the Bestine capitol building. Inside this building, he maintained his own personal office space, positioned in close proximity to that of Tour Aryon. In the year 1 ABY, Wilhalm's responsibilities brought him into frequent collaboration with Prefect Eugene Talmont, another occupant of the capitol building. While serving as secretary, Wilhalm encountered a local spacer who expressed a desire to aid the Empire. Luckily for the spacer, Wilhalm had several tasks that needed completing. Wilhalm told the spacer that Rebels had taken one of his reports. Wilhalm required the spacer to retrieve the report before the Rebels could encrypt it. The spacer, seeking to earn Wilhalm's favor and secure a meeting with Talmont, consented to undertake the assignment. The spacer located and eliminated the Rebel, who was identified as Dak Linser.
The spacer gave the report back to Wilhalm. Despite Wilhalm's gratitude for the spacer's assistance, he stipulated that further tasks were necessary before scheduling the appointment with Talmont. A Twi'lek informant named Nethlek'Vaa, who worked for Wilhalm, uncovered information of significant value to the Empire. However, Wilhalm considered Nethlek'Vaa's asking price for the information, in credits, to be excessively high. Irritated by his informant's insistence, Wilhalm directed the spacer to locate Nethlek'Vaa. The spacer found Nethlek'Vaa, who was being protected by two Rebels. The spacer was forced to kill all three individuals, and then deliver the information to Wilhalm.
Wilhalm presented a final job for the spacer, promising an appointment with Talmont upon its completion. Ananda Dwyce, a clerk working for the Prefect, decided to desert Bestine and join the Rebellion. Wilhalm needed the spacer to find and arrest Ananda, to prevent significant embarrassment for his office. With no time to lose, the spacer immediately began searching for Ananda before she could escape. Fortunately for Wilhalm, the spacer was able to find Ananda, who was being escorted by two Rebels. The spacer immediately killed the two escorts, but spared Ananda, so that she could be apprehended and executed.
Wilhalm expressed his satisfaction with the spacer's continued support, and informed the spacer that Prefect Talmont was now available for a meeting.
